Andrea and Jonathan Barraclough have found their dream home at Jubilee Green, a traditional-style new development by Morrish Homes located in the village of Charlton Marshall, Dorset. The couple moved into their detached three-bedroom home, complete with a charming flint and brick front elevation and modern interiors, during the summer.

Initially, Andrea wasn’t looking for a new-build property. However, after discovering the home at Jubilee Green and being won over by its picturesque yet convenient setting, her mind was quickly changed. “I wasn’t actively looking for a new build, but as soon as I saw this house, I knew it was perfect for us,” said Andrea. 

For Andrea and Jonathan, the house struck the ideal balance between classic architecture and contemporary, light-filled living spaces. They chose a beautifully presented three-bedroom, double-fronted home, offering well-balanced accommodation for modern living.  

Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom benefits from an ensuite shower room, while two further bedrooms share a family bathroom.  On the ground floor, the property features a dual aspect lounge, creating a light and airy living space throughout the day.  The kitchen is thoughtfully laid out and is complemented by a separate utility room and a cloakroom/WC, and a separate dining room provides a formal space for meals and entertaining. Outside, the south-west facing walled garden ticked all Andrea and Jonathan’s boxes.
